G is for GPS, my girl GIGI!!!!!OMG, if you don’t have one and you travel or live in a city; it’s the BEST investment! Or in my case CHRISTAMAS present! Tampa isn’t by any means a huge city, but it’s big to me coming from Starkville, MS! I have made so many wrong turns that I end up on a one way street going the wrong direction or end up in hooker land as I call it! Downtown is a MADNESS!!! But I think that’s the case with any city. I’m the dork that will print out a MapQuest map just to go to a mall or restaurant when I first moved here. Then I just got in the routine of going to the same places. But that all changed Christmas morning when I was surprised by my GPS!!! I flipped out and was ecstatic. My family and I were on the road heading to gosh knows were; either shopping or bowl game and Grant (my brother) decides we need to name her. So after minutes of brainstorming, Grant and Mom come up with GIGI since she’s a Garmin brand!
Laugh all you want, it makes for a good story!
Gigi is my right hand most days; I’ve not been back to hooker land or ended up on a one way street going the wrong direction since I got her!
Whenever I get in the car, I just search for when, what, and where I want to go and she guides me there! Goodness we are spoiled with technology!
