I know this is an old song, but I recently found it from a girlfriend of mine…she had the chorus as her quote….

How many times has life got in the way?!?! I know for me too many times. How many times have you dated someone and you felt this way and wanted it to be “it”?!?! I know as we grow older you want “that one”. But somehow life just got in the way of it….or timing was off..or maybe it wasn’t “it” for you.

I feel that way often…day to day mostly right now… I’m so concentrated on my job and ME that I don’t find time for a relationship. I push it away all the time. Many wonderful people have come into my life and I always seem to think the timing is off or it’s “life” that is in the way. I think it’s just ME!

I encourage myself and others that feel “life get’s in the way”, to not let it when the next opportunity comes around…give it a chance…. You never know…..life is full of surprises…
