So, let’s reverse time back to September 2008. 3 girls rise at around 4:30am to get ready for a fun filled extended weekend in NYC. Trip is filled with baseball, Broadway show, shopping, and memories to keep for a lifetime. And it was just that. Holly, Jenn, and myself visited both NYC stadiums, ’08 was the closing year of the “house that Ruth built” and Shea Stadium. What a perfect time to go. I’m a sucker for sports history, so this was a perfect fit for me. We watched the TB Rays beat the Yankees on a sunny afternoon and the following day we watch the Mets play the Braves. It was awesome! We took lots of pictures and had us a grand sports time.

It’s wouldn’t be a trip to NYC without a little fun in TIMES SQUARE. We stayed right in the heart of it, with Starbucks in lobby; which you should all know I have a slight addiction. We shopped, walked the streets till be couldn’t, figured at the subway map, took tours on buses, went out on a boat to see the Statue of Liberty. We crammed a lot of “touristy” in a few days! Not much sleep at all!

But who needs sleep in NYC?!? My brother also flew up to NYC from Mississippi. He came up to have a little fun with girls and watch Broadway shows. My favorite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid. So..of course Grant and I went to go see it on Broadway! It was FABULOUS!! Mama hooked us up with killer seats to the show. We had a great brother/sister night out in NYC!
